Anshu kicks off her double ascent attempt of Mt Everest

ITANAGAR, May 19: Anshu Jamsenpa, who has conquered Mount Everest for a record fourth times, left the base camp early this morning attempting to make double ascent of the world’s highest mountain peak.
If everything goes as planned and weather permits, she is expected to reach the peak on May 21 or 22, informed senior journalist Taro Chatung.
She made her first double ascent of Everest in 2011.
