Govt employees association submit memo to CM

ITANAGAR, Apr 20: The All Arunachal Pradesh Government Employees Welfare Association has in an eight-point representation addressed to the Chief Minister, urged the state government to fix the service age limit of all working government employees at 58 years to facilitate employment opportunities to the new generation.
It has also suggested that the employees willing to quit the job on certain grounds should be given voluntary retirement after 18 years of continuous service.
The Association also requested the government to arrange buses for every department,
wherein staff from peon to Grade-B officers could avail the bus facility thereby, reducing the traffic congestion.
It also called for immediate abolition of NOC system and appealed to the state government for passing of resolution in the Assembly regarding cabinet decision on Anti-Drug Youth Act.
Further, the Association urged the government to follow the Government of India norms in transfer and posting of employees. It also called for strict implementation of the Golden Handshake Policy.
