NAAM Foundation to build school in Arunachal

THANE, Jan 10: The NAAM Foundation, established by actors Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure has decided to extend its activities to other states, including Arunachal Pradesh, and will be building schools there for children of defence personnel killed in action.
“The foundation will build schools for children of the jawans (army and para-military force personnel) in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Meghalaya,” said Anaspure in an interview at the Rambhau Mhalgi lecture series on Monday night.
He said “Last year deaths of many jawans took place and we find that there is a dire need for schools in these states. Hence NAAM has decided to extend its activities there.”
The foundation has been active since September 2015 and works for upliftment of families of those farmers who committed suicide in Maharashtra due to crop failure and loan burden. PTI

  1. Nana Patekar has become one of the very few figures to look up to in philanthropy. Truly inspiring.
Such people are actually required to be CMs and politicians.

  2. It’s nice endeavour towards the welfare for children of mertyred brave soldiers of our nation. I am looking forward to have a glimpse of great actor Nana Patekar in this way. Good job…. Wish u all a great success !
