Paklu Taipodia wins Eastern India Miss Fitness-2017 title

ITANAGAR, Jan 10: Female bodybuilder and fitness athlete Paklu Taipodia of Arunachal Pradesh once again brought laurel to the state by winning the Eastern India Miss Fitness-2017 title at Nagaon, Assam on Sunday last.
Competing at 7th Eastern India Bodybuilding Championship, the weightlifter turned bodybuilder Taipodia outshined the participants of 12 states of Eastern India which includes Odhisa, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura. Taipodia bagged 5th position in the recently held Senior National Bodybuilding Championship-2016.
Meanwhile, Sports Authority of Arunachal chairman, Gora Makik, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, Dani Salu and Arunachal Bodybuilding Association president, Techi Jobae congratulated Taipodia for her achievement.
